OK,

Its almost go time. All of my group training is finished and i have one very short run today and then its just mental preparation. My first tri is on Sunday in florida. I fly out on Friday and then we do a couple of quick open water practices in wet suits to get used to the waves, the salt water and lack of visibility. on saturday we have a clinic with dave scott. then sunday morning is D-day. we will storm the beaches of St. Petersburg in reverse as if retreating from a war. i hope the bay isnt too choppy. so wish me luck. if i am not too embarrassed of my times i will post them when i get back on wednesday. Thanks for all of the advice you all have given me over the past few months as i have prepared for this. It has been very appreciated.
