Since Lou said that someone could get by doing the workouts twice a week, I think it really comes down to how comfortable or happy you are with the progress you're making. If you are still getting what you want out of the program by only lifting twice a week, that's great. Personally, I like lifting three times a week, basically every other day, to keep a sense of continuity as well as a basic reminder of the fact that I need to make healthy choices every day. Plus, I like to see fast progress =D
