I'm using
Bill Starr's Intermediate 5x5 that a friend showed me last year. It looks like I'll be subbing the dips with decline bench work. But basically this is the sort of work I was doing last spring before I started doing NROL. I saw steady progress on it at 2000 calories a day without bonking and I looked forward to lifting on the days I lifted. With the experimenting I've done in the last 8 months combined with the health battles, I want to be in that place where I last spring where I enjoyed it and don't dread picking up the weights without wondering if I am going to get sick again. Plus I just really like lifting heavy.
