My DH HATES the babydoll look - on anyone! He doesn't get the "potato sack" shape of dresses either - but then again, he has the exact same wardrobe he had in college, more than 20 years ago!
I read once that if you wore a trend the first time around, you're too old to wear it when it comes back in style
. But what does that leave? Not much!!! I don't wanna dress frumpy and old, but I don't wanna look ridiculous and wear the same clothes as my teenager... No matter how hot your body, if you're too old, you look stupid in teenager-style clothes (my DD knows a girl whose mom is at least mid-40's and she wears "juniors" clothes and looks ridiculous)...
