Whew - just finished some evening HIIT.
Feeling really good about this week - so far, two HIIT sessions and one weight workout this week. One more weight workout tomorrow, another HIIT Saturday, and then next week will be completely back on track.

The food side has taken a bit longer to get straightened out. I have no basis in science for this, but it sure seems like once I start eating "free" meals maybe a little too liberally, it's harder to get back on track because my body craves sweets and fatty foods. So after a slip-up, it's even harder to get back in line. But I'm doing okay. I ate more protein/fats today which I finds really helps me control the sugar/carb cravings. I need more chocolate for my desk at work - one square of dark chocolate keeps me away from the FREE ICE CREAM my employer provides. And not just like, vanilla...six different flavors and they change regularly. I normally don't care about it at all, but this week...whew, it's been warm and I've been wanting sugar. Oh, did I mention I have PMS? The cravings have been crazy! But like I said, I'm getting back on track.

I went shopping for clothes yesterday and hated everything I saw. Which is good, I really shouldn't be spending money on clothes right now. But wanting to look good in tank tops and skirts again has re-inspired me to get moving. In a BIG way. It's April! Past mid-April! I would love to lose another inch and a half off my waist before it gets really hot. Time to turn it up to 11.

Okay, I'm getting hungry for dinner...turkey cheeseburgers (no bun, mmm) and lots of broccoli and water.

You know you've made a lifestyle change when you think about turkey burgers (no bun) and broccoli and think, "Oh man, this is going to be DELICIOUS!"

And one more thing - a vein or muscle or nerve or something in my arm has been twitching all afternoon. I can literally see it twitching away in there. It's weird.
