I always tell my friends to pick him up and they're like, 'Holy crap! He IS dense'. My boy carries it all in his legs and ass - he gets that from both parental sides. His thighs are like mini-bodybuilder legs.

Unconditional love. Don't worry, it'll go away if you get hitched. [runs and hides from the torrent of insults coming]
Actually, we dense ones fill our shoes with mercury. That's the real secret.

And I've never been one of those marriage-obsessed girls - I think I'd HATE to plan a wedding. SO not offended by your marriage crack.

I'd even go for a 2-pack right now. Isn't it funny that we call it a 6-pack, but you pretty much have to give up drinking to get one? Hmmm...

Well, I've got a splitting headache today. I thought a bit of caffeine would quell it, but no such luck. It may be one of my "in bed by 8" nights, but I'm sore all over, so maybe that's what I need the most.

My friend/coworker who accompanied me to the track yesterday asked me if I wanted to go again after work. I was like, "Hell no! I don't want to run more than once a week. And I already worked out today."

Having a workout partner is fun, a little. Although yesterday I was ready to go at noon and she called a couple of times to move the time around and we didn't get to the track until 1:35. If it was just me, I could've had two days' workouts done in that time I spent waiting around.

Three cheers for self-reliance.

Another coworker of mine is doing the couch to 5k program. I had to convince her to go get fitted for new running shoes today. She was like, "I have some cheap Sketchers running shoes, those work fine. But my knee is KILLING me today." And I said, "Look, put them on the credit card if you have to. It's going to be a lot less expensive than going to the doctor when you get injured." I think she finally came around...of course she knows that if she did get injured in her old shoes, she'd never hear the end of it from me. Nothing like a little peer pressure used for good.

Is 7pm too early for bed? Why is the sun still shining?! I need those hotel drapes...
