Is the gas new? Processed foods don't cause gas. People can eat that crap all the time and never fester on the inside. Assuming this is somewhat new, look for what changed.

Illness?
More food being eaten daily?
More of a certain food (even if it's in one sitting). Milk, for instance. Some people can drink a cup at every meal and be fine. Drink two and lactose intolerance rears it's ugly head.
