I don't know why @fit would be called a program, at least the WODs. There is no periodization nor pattern. I get the whole random/chaos in training as in life thing but doing 300 reps in one plane of motion and zero in the opposing may not be the brightest idea ever

Not trying to jack the thread, because I am really happy that this forum and Lou's blog got mentions in the NYT and that traffic is up because of it; but just one final correction about Crossfit (can you tell I'm really into it?

) - when you say there is "no periodization or pattern", you are wrong. There is a ten-page article available on the site which explains the program and its methodology and sequence in very transparent detail. (Although, given the virtually infinite variety of exercise combinations, it is still not possible to accurately predict tommorrow's WOD today.)
All I can tell you from my own experience is, it works and was exactly what I needed and wanted for my own goals.
