I love to camp! The whole family does .... We had been a tent family until last year when my hubby bought an old hunting camper,,,, Yes, it's UGLY !!! But we hooked it up & took it to Cascade Lake ( a great place in the blue ridge mts) We had a great time..... I didn't even care how it looked next to the $60,000 campers! or should I say "hotels", at-least we didn't have to put up a wet tent when we went home!!!!
Someone asked what to take camping ! My advice: matches that light even when WET ! and lots of stuff to make smores ! We always invite all the other campers over for a smore party the last night we are there ! IT IS SO MUCH fun & we meet a lot of cool people that way & get lots of great advice on other campgrounds. PS make sure you tell them a set goodnight time, some will hang around till dawn if you don't ! HAPPY CAMPING...... Oh yeah , take good shoes, bathing suit (incase you find water, even a MUD puddle will work depending on how HOT you get !! ) lots lots lots of bug spray ! A first aid kit ( if you have children ) ,, toilet paper is a good alternative to poison ivy leaves.. And your bicycles !!! OH YEAH the best thing to load up """"A GOOD ATTITUDE !!
