I used a mix grip when I did the 6x3 and sometimes on the 5x6 days. I tried to do as many as possible with a normal grip, but when I needed to I switched it up. I don't think it really matters. The point of the snatch grip is widen the arms putting more strain on the delts I think while still keeping form.
