Yes, the problem with Chuck's etc is that they don't support your already injured plantar fascia (PF from here on out). So while it is injured, wear some cross trainers. When it is no longer sore, or just mildly sore, you can start stretching etc. BTW, were you skipping rope in your Chucks? If so, even Ross says this is a big no-no ... too much stress on the bottom of your foot. Wear your cushie cross-trainers for all rope skipping. Or maybe those high-top cool Reebok aerobic sneaks from the picture on your blog ... you know, the ones you are wearing with the acid-wash jeans and the permed mullet.
