i have lost 16 lbs this month.

in college i was down to 155 lbs. but after graduation, getting married, getting a desk job, etc i got on the scale in November and i was 199.7 lbs. that is 52 lbs in 5 years. so i thought long and hard about it and came to decision that i was not going to hit the 200lb mark.

its not like i was inactive. i was doing kung fu, and jiu jitsu. then i signed up for a triathlon and have been training for that. but its wierd bc i wasn't dropping much weight. maybe a pound or two. so i knew it was my diet. i have never known how to eat correctly and i am cautious of 'diets' so really what i was looking for was a lifestyle change. you fine folks pointed me int he direction of the tnt diet about a month ago and while i don't follow it to the t i have a better understanding of how the things i eat function. so i can figure out when to eat what and what not to eat ever (or almost never). so yeah i lost 12 lbs the first 2 weeks and abotu 2 lbs per week since.

o and whats more telling than the weight loss is that my waist is 2-3 inches smaller. i am now fitting in to pants i haven't worn in more than a year. and i had to put a new hole in my belt (in the good direction)
