Well they are different, and look pretty cool when you lift 'em. I'd been thinking about getting some for a while now but that experience has moved them up in the queue a bit.
As a side note, I'd mentioned turkish get ups to Tim and he showed me how to do them. I tried with the KB but failed. Even with a 12 or 15 lb dumbbell the exercise was plenty hard. I'd not be surprised if I see them in one of my training sessions/workouts.
