This will probably be my last post to any of you who were following this post. The PT has deemed me 'cured' and kicked me out lol. Called me a model PT patient and wished all his patients were like me. Looks like I'll have another 8 weeks of doing my own workouts and then they'll have me back for a few visits with their sport specialist to prep me to return to doing the fun stuff 
I want to thank everyone here! This forum was invaluable as a resource for information and to know what to expect from the whole process. Those of you who answered my questions both pre and post surgery made the process much easier for me. Thanks again!
