I'd say that routine isn't exactly optimal. You could get more bang for your buck with other routines. 2 hours of running in addition to 2 hours of basketball would be a waste of time and the wear and tear wouldn't be worth it. He'd be better off spending one of those hours swimming or cycling or something. Plus there are no cleans, snatches, or other ballistics to be found. Lucky Kobe has genetics on his side to make up for the shortcomings of that workout.
