I agree with dmw, I've had two shoulder surgeries and have had well over 15 dislocations before (football ftw).

Have it looked at professionally for sure before you do anything that will stress the shoulder in any way.

If you do continue to lift in the interim, avoid any lifts of movements that stress the shoulder joint, e.g. incline lifts, flyes, lateral raises).
