Two very cool things today.

1. Chocolate suffle with CytoGainer is some of the best I have had hands down anywhere. This stuff is far too sweet for me to drink but man, oh man does it make for some awesome cakes and cookies. And the macros are as good as a protein bar actually better because it has less fat.

Here is the recipe.... 4 scoops of cytogainer chocolate/carmel kind. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of dried egg whites (got these at New Seasons). Combine these dry ingredients and mix water slowly in until just barely enough to clump the mixture. It should be stiff and rather dry. Cut the mixture in half and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 7 minutes. The outsides will look like brownies when done. If you pull them out at just the right time the insides will still be warm and goopy. OMG!! It is wonderful.

Macros:
235 cals
3.5 % fat
27 g protein
35 g carbs

2. I managed to make pizza with a whole wheat crust that had great macros too. I can have these sorts of foods!!!! There really is no need to diet and do without once you are empowered with the knowledge of macro ratio and portion sizes. Life is good.

My metabolism has slowed down this week. It looks like I am cooking pretty consistently right now (past 2 days) at about 2200 kcals. This is great news for me as I don't have to go to 3K in order to gain or at least stop loosing. Right now I am eating at 2500 and I am starting to see some gains in around my belly (why does the extra always go there?) and on the scale I have been up for 2 days in a row which is almost a trend. I count 3 days a trend...

Today is a rest day. I will do some form of mild cardio and then go watch superbowl with my buddies for remainder of the day. Life is good.....
