Whole grains, vegetables and fruit for carbs: oatmeal, cherries, spinach, romaine, etc.
Protein: steak, pork tenderloin, beef tenderloin, boneless skinless chicken breast, chicken breast tenderloins, turkey breast, fillet mignon, t-bone, etc.
Have the fruit in the morning. Probably the best time to have it! In fact, have berries or fruit IN your oatmeal and you're killing two birds...
