It's been a while since I posted that but I have an update.

No more knee pain. Sometimes they feel fatigued but the rest of me does also. I've started stretching more and changed my stride a bit. The way I run has also changed - I'll walk for 5 min at various speeds before picking up the pace. Water? Lots, maybe not enough though. Started on gelatin, which seems to have eased up on my creeky joints.

For the past 2 weeks I've been running/walking 5 days/wk for 30 minutes. On some days I'll warm up for 5 minutes, run for 20, then walk for 5. Today I did 10 walk/15 run/5 walk.

Yes, it's on a treadmill. I'm living in a different place now that's at 4100'....the road I live on is flat and exposed for around 1/4 mile, the rest is a windy mountain road. No lights at all. After almost getting creamed one morning and having something stalk me another I've decided that the treadmill is ok. I could run later during the day but I wake up at 4:45 and am used to being at the gym by 5:30, home by 6:45 to cook my honey some breakfast.

Getting new shoes next wk, another pair of NB.

The best thing? On 12/10 I was 210#. This morning I was 197.
