Yes they spun. A little 15mile installation lap. Need to do a little tweaking, as I am only getting the 4 smallest cogs while in the big ring, and only the 5 largest cogs, while in the small front ring, without a considerable amount of rubbing on the front mech.

While I realize those values are logical for normal use and optimal chain line, they are not practical when someone launches an attack. Jumping into or out of the big ring on an acceleration isn't a good idea in my opinion. I'd like to have more gears available to both front rings.

It was a beautiful day for a ride. I over dressed...so I was on the warm side. The bike is fantastic. It feels quicker and lighter than the older paramount. It feels like a faster steering geometry as well. Probably a little racier geometry is my guess. I am looking forward to finding out how much she weighs. Oh, and the ride quality is crazy butter smooth. I was surprised at how nicely it rides, particularly when I am coming from another steel bike....just not as nice a steel i'm guessing. If I am required to log a complaint.....it's that the BB area is a little flexy. Probably due to my new, massive quads.

All in all, I couldn't be happier with it. My first owned road bike!!!
