I actually like crossfit. It wouldn't work for me due to injuries and other factors, but I can see a lot of benefit to it. Just monitor your progress carefully, and especially watch for shoulder injuries. If you don't have a history for them (like I do) you should be fine. It's really hard to say without actually seeing you perform your lifts, and just looking at your posture in general.
That vid was HILARIOUS! If I ever need to smile after a rough day I'll have to go back and watch that. It's awesome when you see them bonding to their siblings like that... Means that they'll be friends as they grow up together. My oldest two are connected at the hip.
