Decrease simple carbohydrates from white flour and sugary food by 250 calories per day.
Track and document your intake and exercise.
Maintain quality protein sources. Lower fat meats and dairy will also help you trim calories.
Make sure that your exercise routine includes resistence exercise to maintian the muscle mass.
