If you're content with eating the sandwich, then keep doing that. The meat in it has your protein and the bread has your carbs.
For the smoothie, I would consider adding some whey protein. For the most part (standard disclaimer...) whey proteins are the same except for taste and price. Check the back of the tub if you're worried about ingredients. I use EAS protein which I think has 1-2g carb, ~20g protein, and maybe 1-2g of fat as well.
