Post workout protein
I'm so new to this so please excuse my newbie questions.
For post workout, sometimes I'm starving and other times I can't even think about eating.
When I need to eat NOW, I'll make a sandwich... tuna, roast beef or turkey with a slice of cheese some lettuce and onion on whole wheat bread.
When I know I should eat but don't find the appeal of a sandwich I'll make a smoothie with yogurt, oj, blueberries, strawberries (banana once in a while)
Are these post workout meals enough?
Here comes another question.. don't laugh... I'm afraid of buying a whey powder supplement because I don't know exactly what to look for and I get paranoid (sometimes) when I add a powder. I don't know if what it says it is- really is it.
Any ideas?
