I made them this morning too, used a little more cream than the recipe called for and whipped them up with a stick blender. I used three eggs and 1/2 cup heavy cream. They came out very much like pancakes, too. I had to use a fairly cool griddle, and let them cook pretty much through before turning or they'd tear. But they tasted great with butter on them.
