Today's my rest day from workouts and from schooling (I homeschool my kids on a Monday through Thursday schedule) so I've been ignoring the housework and looking over my eating.
I'm a creature of habit, doing the same thing over and over for most everything but dinner, when I'm on the wagon. Here's what I have (on my current wagon):
Breakfast (160 cals, 2g fat, 42g carbs, 13g fiber, 5g protein):
Fiber One Honey Clusters, 1 cup (160 cals, 1.5g fat, 42g carbs, 13g fiber, 5g protein)
Lunch (326 cals, 16g fat, 38g carbs, 11g fiber, 13g protein):
Field Greens salad, 8 cups (51.2 cals, 0g fat, 12.8g carbs, 6.4g fiber, 3.2g protein)
Mushrooms, 1 can (31.55 cals, 0.381g fat, 6.52g carbs, 3.16g fiber, 2.46g protein)
Black Olives, ¼ cup (35.37 cals, 3.22g fat, 2.05g carbs, 1.01g fiber, 0.297g protein)
Fat-free Mozzarella Cheese, 2 cubic inches (47.95 cals, 0.259g fat, 4.34g carbs, 0g fiber, 7.29g protein)
Dressing, 8 tablespoons (160 cals, 12g fat, 12g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g protein)
Pre-workout Snack on Tues, Thurs, Sat (371 cals, 37g fat, 8g carbs, 4g fiber, 9g protein):
Walnuts, 2 ounces (370.82 cals, 36.97g fat, 7.77g carbs, 3.8g fiber, 8.64g protein)
Snack (572 cals, 5g fat, 78g carbs, 8g fiber, 59g protein):
Fat-free plain yogurt, 1 cup (136.64 cals, 0.441g fat, 18.82g carbs, 0g fiber, 14.04g protein)
Banana, 1 cup (138 cals, 0.72g fat, 35.15g carbs, 3.6g fiber, 1.54g protein)
Frozen Strawberries, 1 cup (77.35 cals, 0.243g fat, 20.18g carbs, 4.64g fiber, 0.95g protein)
GNC unflavored whey, 2 scoops (220 cals, 4g fat, 4g carbs, 0g fiber, 42g protein)
Bedtime snack (164 cals, 2g fat, 6g carbs, 0g fiber, 28g protein):
Lowfat Cottage Cheese, 1 cup (163.62 cals, 2.31g fat, 6.15g carbs, 0g fiber, 28g protein)
Which gives me the following daily totals (non-workout days - workout days), not including dinners which vary:
Cals: 1222 - 1593
Fiber (g): 32 - 36
Carbs (g): 164 - 172
Fat (g): 25 - 62
Protein (g): 105 -114
Which gives me rations of (carbs/fat/protein) 35/36/29 on lifting days and 45/19/36 on easy days.
None of the above includes my dinners, though. Dinner favorites that I repeat most every week are homemade veggie soup with lentils, black bean soup with cottage cheese, and chicken breasts with broccoli & cauliflower.
So there it is. I just wanted to gather all of the data of my usuals and slap it up here to ponder on and refer back to as I tweak things.
