The good doctor got the results back from the blood test I went in for yesterday morning. His office called my dad because they didn't have my cell number and they didn't want to leave a message at home. So I called them back.
The receptionist tells me that one muscle enzyme is higher. Those are her exact words. She said "one muscle enzyme is higher". I asked her what that meant, and she tried to explain but bless her heart I could tell she was getting flustered and so I didn't ask any more questions of her.

They made me an appointment for Tuesday at 3:30, and asked me not to lift weights until I go to the appointment.

Great.

ps. fuck them, I'm lifting today and tomorrow as scheduled. I'll move monday's workout to tuesday, after the appointment. If I've been this way up until now, two more training sessions won't kill me. If they do, well, that's what I get for being stubborn.

pps. I had a heavy deadlift workout the day before they drew blood. I ate twice afterwards (not huge meals) and then fasted for 12+ hours (overnight). I wonder if that last workout combined with not eating much could have effected the test this much? In other words, I wonder if I'm really fine but they noticed some kind of spike caused by the heavy deadlift session. I guess I'll find out on tuesday.

I've made some huge mistakes, but they were necessary, because without them I wouldn't have learned anything.
