all i keep reading from your posts is discrediting the wins of the patriots. last week, and then "joking" this week.
I really don't give a fuck about the patriots, but a win is a win, and they are a good team. I hear the same thing from steelers fans (friends of mine), about how pitt are screwed out of games, winning teams aren't as good as their losing steelers, etc. They also tell me that NE isn't going to win the SB, or go undefeated.
i think boston fans are allowed to gloat, considering that they've won 2 world series recently after a long, long drought.

Being happy for your team and gloating are different things.
How about getting a tap on your shoulder between squat sets... you turn around, take out your iPod, and the guy says, "What happened to your shitty QB last night? The Jets?!? Hahaha!"
The Pats beat the Steelers. The next day,
while training a client, a guy walks by and pats me on the back and says, "That one stings, huh? Better luck next year!" and smiles real big.
These are all guys who besides this will shoot the shit with me, have a drink with me, etc. But they know I'm a Steelers and Yankees fan. Somehow the wins change them, and give them a right to suddenly be an asshole. I never said a word when the Steelers won, or when the Yanks took out the Red Sox a few times in the early 2000's.
Anyway, I save my outbursts for here... because I work there, and because besides these fucking weird moments, I get along with all these guys.
No, gloating is not the same as being happy/proud of your team.
