As more of a traditionalist, I'd strongly encourage you to make your choice and stick with it at least through black belt. I say that out of the matter of focusing and learning, as well as that of loyalty to one's instructor and art.
In our tradition of schools, one generally wouldn't even consider starting to explore anything outside of our system until master instructor level, and not even really then. Even at color belt, we get more than just straight taekwondo, but moreso after black belt. We have quite a bit available to us within our system/family. At black belt level, we have some additional aspects to training, as well as an expanded array of arts, that are presented to us. But, to me, 10 years in an art is just a beginning.
Best wishes to you for your training. Feel free to keep us posted or to ask any more questions. Oh yeah: I'll be seeing some taekwondo masters from the twin cities area in early January at our local tournament here. I'll try to keep your question in mind, and see if anyone has any leads.

Thanks Chris, I don't plan on working on any other discipline until I have achieved my black belt ( I hope have that in the next 8-10 months, *crossing fingers and saying quick prayer*) and even then I won't stop with my TKD, but adding an extra facet of training that I know I won't get in my current school. I hope that make sense??
Do you every get down to the cities for the Diamond Nationals or any of the other tournaments?
