Default If You Read This Book....

You'll probably never need to pick up another "How to train women" book again. I'm going to begin this review by being honest. Cassandra is one of my best friends and Lou and Alwyn are two of my mentors whom I greatly respected and who have helped my career tremendously. I've seen an advanced copy of the book and I'm not going to make any bones about it, this is a review.

That being said, I didn't expect too much when I first picked up the book. I had read NROL of Lifting and assumed that it would have a few slight adaptations so that it could appeal to females. I can admit when I'm wrong... I was wrong.

The book not only touched on areas of training that most women haven't been exposed to such as training with lower rep ranges, not being a cardio bunny and the overall scheme of the program design but it also handed the readers a blueprint for success.

With the current trend of authors/trainers trying to talk over their readers, NROL For Women takes a refreshing step back and provides information that can be used immediately. I particularly liked how Lou spoke in a way that female, non-training readers could understand. I still can't figure out how he did that but good job Lou.

I honestly think I have every fitness/strength training book ever written(or close at least) and I've yet to find a chapter let alone an entire book that is as effective for training women as NROL For Women.
