Okay boys and girls -
It's time for the inaugural Eric Martin's Cheeseman Park Brandon Sawyer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Turkey Trot Fun Run For The Cure. We'll be meeting at Cheeseman Park (exact location to be determined) on Thursday morning at 9:30am for our very own Turkey Trot. There is a $400 entry fee, which will all go to me, not some stinking charity. We will provide no water, race support, or bag checks. You're on your own pal. There will be a star studded field of runners, of which you will not see any, as they will be finishing the race as you cross the half mile mark.
It's going to be a bit chilly, so be sure to bring some warm clothes. We'll be doing two, maybe three laps for those of you with your big boy pants on, around Cheeseman Park before retiring to the post-race spread of turkey, mashed potatoes, beer, and stuffing (**not included in entry fee). Oh, and we don't give out t-shirts either, so don't ask. So bring everyone out, and we'll see you on Thursday morning!!!!
