Default So, I got a new mountain bike...

...but I haven't ridden it (or taken it home) yet. Silly picked me out a new Giant Anthem 0. Pretty sweet specs too;

fork Fox 32 F80RL, 80mm travel
shock Fox Float RP23
bars RaceFace Next low rise, 31.8mm
stem Race Face Deus XC, 31.8mm
seatpost Race Face Deus XC, 350x30.9
shifters SRAM X.0 trigger
front derailleur Shimano XT
rear derailleur SRAM X.0, short cage
brakes Avid Juicy Ultimate Disc 160F/160R
cassette Shimano XTR 11-34T, 9-speed
chain Shimano HG-73
cranks RaceFace Deus, 22/32/44
wheelset Mavic CrossMax SL
tires Michelin XC Dry2, 26x2.0 folding

It ended up pretty light for an XL too (my Blur is in the low 30s); 25 pounds on the dot (bike shop digital scale) after we added the pedals (Wellgo MG-1), an Arundel bottle cage and made a few 'adjustments' from the factory spec. Nothing serious really; ditched the tubes for some Stan's sealant, and swapped the stock saddle to a Ti railed Ithys Gove she found me. I've yet to add a computer, so that will add a negligent amount, but considering I could drop a quarter pound just by putting on some eggbeaters I am SUPER stoked. The picture is just Giants stock photo, but it pretty much tells the tale. I'll let you all know how it rides soon. From what I've heard, the Blur will have some serious competition.
