Sounds like you could have a facet lock which is very common in the thoracic spine ... a good manual physical therapist could fix it easily, but if you want to try on your own for a bit, try some foam rolling for your thoracic spine ... extensions over it ... or even Mike Boyle's two tennis balls taped together ... any kind of mobility drill for your thoracic spine should help ...
