Well, I just got off the phone with Ryan. Whew! I think we talked for an hour and a half!
It was a lot of fun though. I will put it up as soon as I can so you can all hear it.
I asked him most of the questions in some form or another.
If you are hoping to hear him get skewered alive you won't get what you want to hear though. I'm a nice guy, he's a nice guy, and I happen to personally like him quite a bit, so I don't pin him down and ask him why he sucks or whether or not he has stopped beating up elderly women.
Another thing you need to know is that I am not a professional interviewer. We were literally all over the map. I'm ADD as can be and he has a permanent IV caffeine drip, so we just went where the discussion wanted to flow, and it doesn't follow any pre-organized course. Outside the questions that you all posted I must have asked him dozens of marketing questions (gotta get all the free advice I can get, you know). I can tell you this... His success was no accident.
I think at the end of the interview though you will all have a much better understanding of Ryan. Whether or not it will change or affirm your opinions about him... I have no idea. It was a lot of fun though, and Ryan was very generous with his time for this. Hopefully you will all enjoy it. If you don't, well, at least it was free!
