Last year the only reason we stayed at the holiday inn by the airport is that the Laquinta screwed up my reservation. If I do it in LR, I will definitely do it in the Laquinta across the street again. I agree that it is perfect having it right across the street, and helps save money.
I am close to nailing down a date, but I have to speak to a few people first. Nick, you were preaching to the choir when it comes to the number of speakers. It will be hard to top last year, but I won't try. I plan to scale back to just a couple of speakers. It allows someone to give a lot more depth anyway. Hearing Bill present for 90 minutes was almost frustrating after seeing how much we could learn with 6-8 straight hours of Bill. I won't miss the stress of trying to coordinate a small army of professionals either.
I am thinking about doing a "quick and dirty" fitness summit in Nashville in the next couple of months with just one or two speakers, so keep a look out for an announcement on that. It will be held at a gym owned by a good friend of mine. It will probably be more geared to fitness pros, aspiring pros, or people looking to open their own gyms. The one that I am obviously hosting in LR (based on the results of my poll so far) will be geared to my usual group.
