Initially if it is acute/inflammed, rest/ice/compression can help as can pendulum exercises. If it seems similar to the other shoulder, you might do well to do what the therapist did with the other one, similar exercises etc.
FWIW I cannot do any pressing exercises with BB or DB where my scapula is more fixed (ie in any bench type position). I do fine with push presses or jerks or snatches, and fine with pushups, but the minute I lie on my back and do pressing movements, my shoulders start hurting again. I have learned to really focus on scapular stability and now my shoulders feel healthier than they ever have (and I've had surgery).
