Indeed, Greg, the ghosts often take shape as thoughts of lack, limitation, and "ain't it awful?" As Cheney points out,
"About 99.99% of the population has been programmed sub consciously since birth with lack and limited thinking through words, the media, and everyday conversation and this has been handed down from generation after generation."
I am interested in this thread because I am working with these issues now. Isn't it interesting that our minds can be our most formidable foes, but also our most advantageous allies?

While religion is suppose to help with those 'ghosts', I am not sure that it is any more help that learning to develop insight and acceptance (and all sorts of other things) from a more secular viewpoint.

I think religion can help with the ghosts, but I am concerned that we not make the cure worse than the disease. Religion and spirituality can be great, as long as they do not become toxic and override our common sense, insight, awareness, and rational thought processes.
