This challenge was an excellent thing for me. My points overall don't reflect the great benefit this has been. I ended up with 453 points. The big downfall was in my personal goals area. I didn't meet the third one, so I am not taking any points in this area.
Exercise:
I could have got a few more resistance and interval workouts in. That said, I am happy with what I did accomplish. Much better progress in these areas than I've had in the past few months.
Nutrition:
I really worked at this one, and did "ok". It would have been nice to have better nutrition, but I believe I really did better because I was focused on the challenge.
Competitive Goal:
Did well here. Got in two events. A 5k race, and a sprint triathlon. Glad to have accomplished both.
Personal Goals:
Keep journal up to date - did well here. It was fun to do this.
Lose an inch in my waist -- I never actually measured at the start, but clothes are definitely looser on my, so I did well here.
Lose 10 pounds -- this is where I fell short. I ended up loosing 8.5 lbs, so because of this, I didn't take any points for the personal goals area.
This challenge was great in that it kept me inspired to keep at it, and it was a great way to share in others experiences through the whole challenge.
