61 DC Thorns and Roses - Week 6
Ya know, 35 days go by really fast and we are well into day 36. I really like the 61 DC. It has served as a source of encouragement in my workouts and nutrition, it has gotten me to try new things and old things alike, and probably the greatest of all -- it has allowed me the opportunity to become acquainted with all of you guys.
Take a moment to give yourself a big hug, or a swift kick in the.. lol because even though we aren't through yet -- even though you might not have been as compliant as you hoped for -- the reality is the type of dedication it has taken you to get this far is extraordinary. While this is the case, my hope is that it doesn't feel that way. You don't feel laboured with your plans. Old habits may die hard, but new ones can be more fun. There is something out setting out to do something new that is like a blank page, an unwritten script. The possibilities are endless but in those same moments we realize there is a fine line between exhiliration and frightening. Focus on the exhiliration. Find the joy, the peace or whatever you seek in this world and MAKE IT HAPPEN.
I leave you with a thought from Hillel, “If I am not for myself, then who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, then what am I? And if not now, when?”

P.S. Let's start up a thread to post your total points and percentage of goal up to this point. Also include a few thoughts about what you think of the challenge so far.....
