First off, Newman- another great thread started by you!!
It is great to hear all the big numbers people have dropped. Also nice tio hear from so many new members. Welcome to the boards!!!!
Amusing to hear that Chris put Chris down at the summit!
My story is not as impressive as many of the folks here but here ist is: I started at 5'7" 170 lbs 30 % BF on Tanita, and went down to about 138 at 17-18 % ( a bit lighter than I want to be) and now am at 148 ( a good weight for me) and 19-20 %BF, and would like to take that below 15 % but am in the a similar mental position as Chris- wondering if I want to sacrifice family meals for vanity (But I am vain LOL)
suppose I have lost about 35 pounds of fat while gaining muscle. So a big thanks to all the JP people who have answered all my questions and given so much encouragement. For the newcomers I would lie to say: welcome, do not be shy, ask almost anything and someone will know the answer and more importantly many people will try to help. This is a great site, take advantage of it and contributing is NOT ONLY answering questions, but asking them. When you ask a question the contributers gain beause they think about and all the other members who read also benefit.
When I was a newcomer I was very hesitant to ask for or offer advice. Everyone was great so I have no qualms about asking- as far as giving advice goes, I am more of a weekend warrior and do not have much expertise, so I usually am limited in where I can offer useful info.
I think that the best advice I can give people here is to participate and enjoy the forum because there are some great people here.
