Thanky thanky. Fitday is keeping me on track. It's been really interesting experimenting with my diet. I think this is the most serious I have ever gotten about that. I'm learning a little about my body. Here's what I know so far..

1. I can slowly lose weight on 2200 calories a day
2. As long as I keep my fats at around 45% of those calories I don't have cravings at all.
3. I need those few carbs that I am eating before training in the a.m. to keep my energy levels up. (carbs are about 15% of my diet right now)
4. If I wait and eat my carbs at night (such as on a rest day) I end up craving more carbs even if I've had the appropriate amount of fats. Carbs at night makes me crave carbs.

So far..the loss has been gradual but has not stopped. I'm curious about one thing though. I've had a couple of days where I was short 200-300 calories at the end of the day. Usually because I didn't get enough fats in. When this happens, I have opt to go ahead and take in the necessary fats and up my days caloric intake. ( I do an olive oil shot)

Now..I wonder what would happen if I actually skipped those additional calories? I would end up at like 2000 cal for the day instead of 2200. Would my fat loss stall out? Would I end up without energy? Would I suffer cravings? Or would I lose faster for having a lower calorie day? I struggle with this each time I have a low cal/low fat day. This has happened maybe 2-3 times within this 2 week period.

Ultimately..I'm gonna keep doing what I am doing until I see the fat loss stall out or have energy level issues...etc. But I wonder about this.
