I did get a little carried away with poking fun at her - sorry if it came off as offensive to anyone.
Although it's not polite to make fun of people and compare them to predators of the Serengeti
, I do think it's natural to be turned off by gluttony. Obese people certainly do have the right to enjoy their food, just like anyone else. But enjoying it in excess is simply unattractive (figuratively and literally).
The woman who always ordered the 2,500 calorie latte wasn't obese - just on her way. But seeing her enjoy this much excess was disturbing.
Anyway, I'm not trying to defend my language earlier. It was better suited for a locker room than a public forum.
