Default Chad, walking backwards

I googled you, Chad :p and found this:

Sure do! I was recently researching into some esoteric training methods and one really caught my attention. An old-time bodybuilder just couldn't get his calves to grow so he starting running backwards in sand every day. After 6 weeks of backwards running, he adding a full inch to his calf girth. That's incredible considering how notoriously stubborn the calves are when it comes to hypertrophy. Unfortunately, many of us don't have access to a beach.

Id really like to try this, however, starting at 10 and eventually going up to 20 mins is a bit much, because it would really make my training days long. So, can i do this on my days in between workouts where i dont work my calves? Also, does it have to be on a treadmil? I got a real nice hill right next to my house, i could run backwards up that, though the incline on that hill might not be exactly what you said to put the treadmill at and the incline varies, thats nature. Is that OK?

I guess its not really CNS intensive work, so it shouldnt make me "overtrain" (or whatever you want to call it) even if i do it on a rest day..

I know its not a question about your book, but i thought this had to be the best place to ask.

Thanks in advance!
