Default Lance's Fitness Journey - Continuous Improvement

I've been a member for a while, and the 61 day challenge is just what I need to get myself motivated to make the improvements I want to see.

As an aside, I began working out about three years ago. I had become overweight and lethargic. My weight went from 225 down to 170 lbs over the course of the first year. The next year I maintained at around 175 lbs, while getting into more strength training, and doing a bit less cardio. This past year I have definitely done less of both cardio and strength training, and my weight is up to around 195 lbs, and my clothes are more snug (or don't fit). I have continued to workout, but it seems to go in streaks for me recently. This challenge is just what I need to get back on track. So...

Nutritional Goals
Eat whole grains
Limit chocolate intake
Eat correct portions
Eat six small meals/day
No soda (I drink very little right now)
Eliminate eating in front of the tv

Fitness Goals
Strength workout 3x / week (probably NROL)
Bike 2.5x / week (90 minute sessions) - I'll accomplish this by biking to work - 45 minutes one way (this will be interval training as well)
Run 1x / week (30 minute session)

Personal Goals
Lose 10 lbs of bodyweight
Lose one inch from around my waist
Keep this journal up to date

Competitive Goals
Pewaukee Sprint Triathlon
Brewers Sausage Run 5K
Lapham Peak 5K Trail Run (mid August - after the challenge is over)

This should be fun. Good luck to everyone participating!
