As for your chins, do you wrap yuor thumb around the bar? I don't wrap my thumbs and my chins reps have gone up. Usually, my biceps will fatigue before my back does during chin/pulls.
Thanks John - the medium actually has a rubber end to fit into a corner. I think I do wrap thumb - I will quit. What has stopped me usually in chin ups is the pain. Yesterday arm just bonked on pull ups - I take it thats a central nervous system command.
