26-50. About 25 all at once, and smaller, lesser amounts since then.
My problem is that right now I am light enough to get by as looking generally decent for an older American guy, somewhat fit, but certainly not buff by any stretch of the imagination, able to perform well enough in my martial arts. So, the initial motivation I had to drop the initial 25 was really high. Now, I think it's the loss of social eating opportunities that I'm not willing to forsake. I can't get myself to dedicate to get to the next level (that looking more buff, 12% or less bf place).
I'd also lost a chunk of weight as a teen, before gaining weight again in college. Then losing it later in college, but then gaining it again after getting married. It seems I didn't want to permanantly part with that 25-30 pounds. LOL Now I'm parted from it, but the remaining 15 or so to be noticeably leaner is something that's eluding me, probably more mental than physical. Who knows, though: maybe I'd better get my T levels checked.
Good topic.
