Breakfast
1 cup steel cut oats
2 tbs butter
Half chicken breast
2 chicken boullion cubes
Cup of coffee with probably too much non-dairy creamer
Notes: feeling alert and active. I think in the past I was starving myself and not cutting fat because I was eating too little. Mixed feelings about so much butter. Maybe try using a healthier lipid. I can feel my metabolism is elevated today from yesterday's workout.

According to various calorie calculators I need between 3100 – 3350 calories per day to break even at 225 pounds
5' 11" getting exercise every day. This puts my fat loss target between 2400 and 2800. This seems high to me. On the other hand I feel rather tired at the moment…
Snack: 12 oz protein shake
Lunch: 2 tacos
Hard shell, steak, black beans avocado, salsa, lettuce, olives ~675 cal
Had 12 oz protein shake at 5pm, 5 hours after lunch
Dinner:
On The Border Ranchiladas 1360 calories!
Exercise:
Series of short jogs. About 30 minutes of running/walking.
Knee felt great. No pain in knee on 5/3
Notes: Start training legs again in gym. Knee rehab is getting where it needs to be.
Dinner feels like too many calories but if I look at totals for the day its coming out to around 2600 I think.
