1. Pain Began around 2-23-2007
2. The last thing I did was a bench pressing session (with an over arched back). Pain came two days later
3. It is located to the left between the L4 and L3 of the lumbar spine (my guess is the Longissimus thoracis muscle)
4. The pain begins dull and by the end of the day is aching.
5. The pain is constant until the end of the day (if I work)
6. Standing and walking for longer than an hour starts the pain.
7. Not being on my feet makes it feel better.
8. No radiation of pain to other parts of the body
9. Use to be able to stand and walk all day, running is out of the question.
10. My main concern is that I won't be able to stand for 8hrs, and workout because of the pain. (I'm shoe manger and have to be walking, standing, and climbing stairs on an average work day).
11. Have you ever injured that part of your body before? If so, how? I have injured my shoulder in the past (9 years ago, disclocated left shoulder). Also injured the vastus medialis muscle in September 2006, by either squatting or leg pressing (swelling was sudden with pain the next day) and have not worked my legs since then.
12. The pain is not getting worse but not getting better either.

I went to go see an ART practioner and today with some therapy, he suggesting that it might be the facet joint with the pain radiating to the left, I will see him again Saturday to see if his treatment help reduce pain by atleast 30% before we try something else.

Thank You Dr. Clay and anyone else that can help.
