7 year old clavicle injury
Hello, My name is Chris. I’m a 31 years old. I’ve been lurking here for what seems like years. I have found the site to be very useful. I have recently started training seriously again. I am on phase 3 of TAP. I am planning on starting NROL Break in in 3 weeks.
I need some advice on a shoulder injury that I got about 7 years ago. I broke my right clavicle in June of 99. I never went in and had it looked at. I have noticed for years that It feels kind of of out of place. It also pops a bit when I swing my entire arm around. What really made me start thinking about this injury again was doing deadlifts this morning at the gym. When I come to the top of the deadlift movement I noticed in the mirror that my right hand is about 3 inches lower when holding the barbell. So what im saying is my shoulder sags that far on my right side. There is also a good size bump on my soulder from where it healed.
I know it seems very late to be thinking about an injury like this. It seems to have fully healed and I can lift a decent amount on my deadlifts. Is this worth going in and seeing if I can be straightened out? Could shoulder strengthening fix it?
Thanks
Chris
