Default Recovery Q re: Heat and Ice usage

So I'm fairly sure I already know the answer to this but want to make sure, if I'm using heat and ice on the muscles for recovery purposes I would use ice the day that I hit that group say 10minutes per hour, then the next day or 2 use heat for 15-30 minutes on that same group with some foam rolling...right?
